While exercising the hip act of love and theft,
I have decided to form my last blog based on the similar principles behind
“Girl Talk’s”
creative process.
Instead of choosing only 3 blogs of my most liking,
I have decided to take bits and pieces from my favorites and
form a new blog.
I will answer your questions as I “dance monkey, dance!”

What I learned from this course:
The ancient “hip” that resided deep in the plaid and polyester bellows of my 90’s hippie youth surfaced and motivation came to create the official
reclamation of my coolness in this very moment of realization. I thought it was
hip
to realize
that I needed to be more cool.

What Ever Happened To Class?

who has no fucks to give."
AND
Niggas is a beautiful thang.
AND
Go placidly amid the noise and the haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible, without surrender,
be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly;
and listen to others,
even to the dull and the ignorant;
they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons;
they are vexatious to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others,
you may become vain or bitter,
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your own career, however humble;
it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs,
for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is;
many persons strive for high ideals,
and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection.
Neither be cynical about love,
for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment,
it is as perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years,
gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline,
be gentle with yourself.
You are a child of the universe
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God,
whatever you conceive Him to be.
And whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life,
keep peace in your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
and remember what peace there may be in silence.

How I would evaluate my performance in class this semester, as well as my strengths and weaknesses as a writer and thinker:
A super cool hot dog dude answers the question regarding my performance in class this semester:
On a scale of 1 to 10, where do you think his level of giving a f*** what you think is? What I’m feeling right now is straight jealousy for that dude.
My strengths as a writer would be a balance between arrogance and humility when I submit a piece of writing with this state of mind:
Enjoy that which is crap.
This is not hip.
It was a gift from my heightened awareness.
As far as my weaknesses as a writer are concerned I have a new solution when the battle between expression and execution arise:
"Free The Junk."
It's the hip thing to do.
The Thinker in me whether it’s considered a weakness or strength says:
Identity is ultimately determined by the individual.
Perspective may be what drives an individual's actions
but the good or bad consequences that come with embracing the creation of one’s own identity
is
a risk
either most are willing to take
a risk
either most are willing to take
or may never take into consideration.
If I were to give myself a grade for this class that is reflective of my performance, I would give myself…
An A for am·biv·a·lence.
During those times that I wasn’t perpetually present in class, I was experiencing Illicit Enlightenment elsewhere

TO SUM UP WHAT THIS COURSE MEANT TO ME:
is your brain on?
Be yourself. Fu!k ‘em.
